ATLUS GAMES IS DEAD IN JAPAN

Atlus, the company behind the Persona and Megami Tensei series, is to be dissolved due to its ongoing financial problems.
Atlus, a 100% owned subsidiary of Index Holdings, will henceforth be dissolved and its assets transferred to Index Holdings.
However, it has also been announced that future game releases by the consolidated company will continue to use the “Atlus” brand where appropriate – its history as a distinct entity is at an end though.

Atlus was THE ONLY game developer and publisher left that I still worshiped with every fiber of my being. I am saddened that this economic situation has torn apart this great company and allowed a wolf like Index to abuse the Atlus Name. So what does this mean for Persona 5 and any other games? Well guess what, Index announced their new Persona game already…it’s a fucking Cell Phone Game that has micro transactions. YOU CAN SEE WHERE THIS COMPANY HAS THEIR IDEAS FOR THIS BRAND!!!! So far nothing has been said about Atlus of America so I am still holding on to some glimmer of hope, however I am letting you kiddies know right now, GO SNATCH UP THOSE ATLUS GAMES WHILE YOU CAN!!!
