My quick opinion of episode 2 of THE WALKING DEAD “GUTS”
Honestly, WOW. This show just continues to get better and better and better. Once again, Darabont proves he is a master of his craft. The swooping camera that descends on the tank in the middle of town showcasing the zombie horde and our fearful, yet determined hero Rick was fantastic. This show looks better than most films, that is just a fact. The liberties taken with the story are many but at the same time pace the show so well that make it feel like it’s own entity and more than just an adaptation. Rick’s back and forth with Merle Dixon on the roof was extremely well done and showed that our hero has come to grips with this new world but will show his cop nature and step up when needed. I smiled at the moment where he stood back to recognize the corpse they used for their “paint”. It was such an earnest and touching moment that shows character and just makes you go ” I LOVE YOU RICK”. The show is not all exposition, it can still give a fierce punch when needed, and this episode once again gave us some fantastic zombie killing action. The rain scene I blogged was an especially fantastic treat. All in all, I am so happy with this show. I love it. Alliluvswalkingdead!

My opinion of episode 1 of THE WALKING DEAD
The show started off with what might end up being a controversial, but yet extremely poignant scene. The acting and dialogue was incredibly well written. All the characters seemed believable and were not overplayed. Farnk Darabont does a great job of framing his shots and makes the show feel more like a movie than a tv series. The whole thing is paced amazingly well and does things that most shows dream of doing. It makes you feel for a character you met 20 minutes before. Words are not needed. Morgan’s scene with his wifes pictures comes to mind, simply put, this scene honestly made me feel his pain. This is one of the best adaptations I have seen, so far, in a long time. KickAss the film was a very good adaptation that made changes for sake of the audience and censors. The Walking Dead only changes some dialogue and scenes to extend the experience. Other than that, this is an incredibly faithful adaptation of the much loved comic series and is one to be noted for almost anyone who is thinking of adapting a much loved comic or anything for that matter. All in all, I loved it. It has the slower parts of the book down pat and is not shy to use gore and violence. This one episode had more zombie action than the last 2 resident evil movies combined. Don’t miss this show, it’s replaying right now.
AMC FTW

UNDEAD OVERRUN TRAILER
A nursery rhyme for the western zombie lover.
A new horde mode in Red dead…yes I know that everyone is doing it now, is it still awesome? Fuck yeah it is. The co-op missions were about the only part of Red Dead Multiplayer that wasn’t infuriating to me, so having a mode like this is fantastic. You, three friends, ZOMBIES, new holy weapons and a BLUNDERBUSS!!! It’s gonna be mighty fine trip back to the land that Marston built.
